Payment and Sliding Scale

I do not take insurance at this time, though I am happy to provide you with a super bill. Many insurance companies reimburse for out-of-network providers. Sliding scale services are an attempt to make this work accessible outside of the medical model for folks of a variety of income levels. For more thoughtful ideas around how the sliding scale can act as community care, see here and here to read more.

My sliding scale pricing is $150-200 per session. When trying to determine where you fall on the sliding scale, it may be helpful to consider your class, race, gender, ability, and sexuality (etc) positioning in society. For folks with privileged identities, generational wealth, and/or expendable income, paying at the high end of the sliding scale helps makes this work more accessible. For people with marginalized social identities/lower income, accessing at the lower end of the sliding scale is encouraged. I will never ask you to justify your choice. I trust you to act with integrity and honesty. It may be helpful to know that the average range for pelvic floor therapy in Boston is about $175-250 per session.
